On August 19, 2020, Springfield Mayor, Domenic Sarno, announced the appointment of Kimberly J. Weir to the Community Police Hearing Board (CPHB).
In making this announcement, Mayor Sarno cited the fact that Kim brings a deep background and understanding in the field of Corrections and Mental Health having previously worked for the Connecticut Department of Cor- rection and the Massachusetts De- partment of Mental Retardation (DMR), now the Department of De- velopmental Services (DDS). The Mayor added, “I know she will serve our residents and business communi- ty honorably and with distinction in this capacity.”
Here at Mt. Zion, Sis. Weir serves on the Trustee Ministry and the Soup Kitchen Ministry.
Sis. Weir was sworn in her new position on August 24th.
